Recent Wearingeul ink swatch tests

Based in South Korea, Wearingeul are a gift and stationery supplier with a seriously impressive fountain pen ink collection which they continue to expand upon with some stunning, sheening, shimmer and standard fountain pen inks along with high quality swatch cards and papers all of which are tastefully packaged to a very high standard.

001 copyThe Old Man and The Sea – named after the book by Ernest Hemingway this is a fabulous sea blue with a huge tonal range and a deep red shimmer. Looks great doesn’t it.

003Half Moon with Dimmed Light – A fascinating grey ink with both warm and cool hues revealed with a lovely greeny blue shimmer.

002 copy 2Shoot the Moon – this is a really heavy black with a dull sheen but it waters down to reveal some lovely cool grey gradations.

004The Brothers Karamazov is arguably one of the most influential books ever written. It’s a complex novel as is this deep teal green ink with a fabulous tonal range, great chromo and a stunning red sheen.
