United Inkdom sent me this for review – the Kaweco Ice Sport Fountain Pen in translucent yellow (also available in Black, Red, Blue, Pink and Orange). Made from tough but exceptionally lightweight ABS/macrolon plastic it features the Kaweco logo in silver-coloured metal on the end of the cap.
The stainless-steel nib is manufactured by Bock of Heidelberg and available in medium, fine, extra-fine, broad or extra-broad. I’m using a 1.9 calligraphy nib and using it purely for highlighting. If you want to know more about the Kaweco calligraphy nibs click here.
And the verdict? It’s not expensive and looks great. This came in the black matte black gift tin with a pack of highlighter yellow cartridges and as a highlighter pen works really well, but you can use any colour you like, obviously, and any the Kaweco nibs are just brilliant, I have all of them in gold and stainless.
As a self confessed Kaweco junkie, having me review this is going to be bias whatever happens. But seriously, whether you’re looking for a good quality pen or a fashion accoutrement, take a look at the photos and see what you think?
