Ink Sample Vial and Ink Swatch Card Storage Systems

As mentioned, collecting fountain pen inks can be an expensive pastime, particularly if you want to swatch test complete ranges.

So, using sample vials of fountain pen ink, whether purchased from suppliers, swapped with other enthusiasts or a combination of both, is pragmatic and affordable. For vial storage, if you’re based in UK, I get my vials and foam mats from https://www.theconsumablescompany.com.

For my swatch cards, I use an affordable album type system, sourced from online office stationery suppliers, which both protect my cards and allow me easy access for reference. Space saving, easy access, protection and affordability are all key factors in the systems that I employ.
