I have been looking ways of ways of expanding the abstract calligraphy side of my work and came across an exhibition catalogue of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s work, so thought I’d try using oil pastel resist with fountain pen inks and bleach to see if I could achieve his style BUT within the Fountain Pen Ink Art medium. For abstract expressionism (including illustration, calligraphy and graffiti) this really could be quite exciting. But for the first initial experiments, check out the video.
