These are some of the Diamine inks I’m using for the Illuminating Beasts workshops. I haven’t tested these before, but if you’ve seen my earlier post, they are great for art based projects as well as handwriting. They all blend with each other superbly and the colours are just so vivid! See the image of Hendrix where I’ve used all 8 inks. Another outcome unique to fountain pen inks! What’s not to like?
Diamine Denim – an deep blue grey ink that blends easily with water and gradates evenly with subtle hints of turquoise at the edges. Reacts easily with bleach turning a neon gold. An easy to use writing ink with an even colour and great flow.
Diamine Turquoise – an uneven electric blue that blends easily with water, gradating evenly with no hidden hues. Reacts easily with bleach turning a neon white gold. An easy to use writing ink with an uneven colour and great flow.
Diamine Majestic Purple – an uneven purple that blends easily with water with subtle pink hues in the lighter areas. Reacts easily with bleach turning a neon white gold. An easy to use writing ink with an uneven colour and great flow.
Diamine Hope Pink – a deep rich pink that doesn’t blend too easily with water. Reacts easily with bleach turning a neon white gold. An easy to use writing ink with an uneven colour and great flow. Vivid colour, very pretty. Interestingly when used on the image Hendrix image, it’s very dominant always fighting bits way to the top and creating new colours in the process. Try it out.
Diamine Raw Sienna – a deep uneven brown that blends easily with water, gradates evenly with very subtle hints of turquoise at the edges. Reacts easily with bleach turning a neon white gold. An easy to use writing ink with an uneven colour and great flow.
Diamine Apple Glory – a translucent green that blends easily with water and gradates in the swash unevenly. Reacts easily with bleach turning a neon white. An easy to use writing ink with an uneven colour and great flow.
Diamine Sunshine Yellow – a gorgeous uneven yellow that blends easily with water and gradates in the wash unevenly. Reacts easily with bleach turning a neon white. So bright and happy and so easy to use. A great find. An easy to use writing ink with an uneven colour and great flow.
