It’s slowly starting to get there. I used 7 Diamine colours: Classic Red, Midnight Blue, Blue Black, Sunshine Yellow, Onyx Black, Peach and Ochre. To be honest I could have done it with five but the Peach and Classic Red just added that little extra. The sky and water were a dream to execute, those little bits of chromatography really do pack a punch. So, do fountain pen inks with bleach highlighting work as an alternative watercolour medium? I’m going to say yes! And with some. But it’s best you judge for yourselves.
