Robert Oster Signature Inks – Visually Stunning!

Here are 12 fairly recent Robert Oster Signature Inks. Very kindly sent to me by Claudia Astorquiza, these are breathtaking. Visually stunning! The richness and diversity of colour is astounding, the chromatography, across TWELVE inks is, quite overwhelming and the coloured sheening… You hardcore ink geeks know full well that I am a fan of this brand but these recent additions have, in my opinion, taken fountain pen inks to another level. I will definitely be creating test art with these as soon as I can get some more free time. From a creative perspective, these inks all blend with water and react with bleach. There’s not much more to add, you can see for yourselves. What beautiful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL group of inks.

The swatch tested inks are: Gun Schwartz, Midnight Sapphire, Fire and Ice (beautiful sheen), Peppermint, Green Diamond, Verde de Rio, Bronze, Caffe Crema, Melon Tea, Gold Antigua, NG Special and Orange Zest.

Buy my artwork: I have finally given into pressure and opened an ETSY shop. If you’d like to buy any of the original art featured on my site you can purchase it here. I will do my upmost to add value to your investment over time – click here to access the shop . I am also accepting commissions for swatch tests. So, if you have a favourite ink(s) and some words for someone special, or maybe just for yourself, drop me a line and we can discuss further.

If you’d like to know more about this project, please take a look at the Mission Statement.

All tests on Bockingford 200lb watercolour paper using a dip pen with titanium zebra G flex nib for the bleach work and a Noodler’s Ahab for the ink work.

Ink samples very kindly donated by Bauer Inks

Just for the record – I do this for myself, I receive no remuneration what-so-ever and I tell it exactly how I see it.
