Caroube de Chypre

Another quick test to start putting into practice some of the wonderful behaviours of fountain pen inks learned over the last 18 months. This time using J Herbin 1670 Caroube de Chypre. Once the chromatic process had dried inside the circle, all I had to do was decide what to do with it, so, here some beautiful trees in winter captured during a family walk along the North Downs Way.

Art on Bockingford 200lb watercolour paper using a Desiderata Daedalus with titanium zebra G flex nib.

Many thanks to Sam Bell of ExaClair for the sample.

Just for the record – I do this for myself, I receive no remuneration what-so-ever and I tell it exactly how I see it.
