Whaleman’s Sepia

whalemans-sepia02

This ink got me, it really did. It was a spiritual thing. The melancholia that this ink has about it – is overwhelming. The Cocteau Twins version of Song to the Siren burst into my head. Visions of lost sailors and then images of the Scottish Highlands… but sometimes it’s best not to say anything – just step into the world created before you and let your imagination do the rest. Essential fodder for any ink geek!

Noodler’s Whaleman’s Sepia – and a great name too!

Created on Bockingford 200lb watercolour paper using a Desiderata Daedalus with titanium zebra G flex nib.

Many thanks to Brian and Rachel Goulet for the sample vial: https://www.gouletpens.com

Just for the record – I do this for myself, I receive no remuneration what-so-ever and I tell it exactly how I see it.
