Type and illustration on an Emeraude de Chivor ink wash using Emeraude de Chivor ink and bleach on a heavyweight Bockingford watercolour stock. Line work was accomplished using a Noodlers Ahab fountain pen. You may notice that the gold flecks and deep rubine reds are not easily visible but I was surprised at how easily the bleach worked and how controlled the ink was. This is a great product with uses beyond pure handwriting.
Please note: try as I might I couldn’t quite get the image colour – it is in fact more emerald green and best seen for real.
