Just got hold of some ink samples – 18 in total. Tried one on watercolour paper (top half) and the other cartridge paper (bottom half). As you’ll see, the inks react differently on the two papers. On watercolour paper the Fuyu-gaki breaks down more into pinks and yellows. On cartridge paper the Diamine Sunset is far more penetrating giving a richer colour and blends well with quink black. Writing on both papers is pretty much the same. Great intense colours! Have an artwork in mind for these.
