Having made contact with Tom Oddo (Goldspot) thought I’d do a quick ink review of Skrip Black – an ink I haven’t used in a long while. As you can see, it works beautifully when blended with water, a very consistent colour and very easy to use. Compared to Quink for example it absorbs into the paper quickly. Where the ink was most concentrated, the bleach took a while to react (which indicates a great longevity for the ink), but as you can see, it works well and you can still achieve that wonderful gold/neon effect.
