Ferris Wheel Press swatch testing December to April 2025

Ferris Wheel Press (FWP) is a design and stationery company based in Markham, Ontario, Canada, and have been creating high-end stationery and fountain pen inks for more than ten years.

Just over two years ago I signed up to become a FWP Creative Ambassador with the deal being: I get my blog featured on their Creative Ambassador webpage; get sent a couple of bottles of ink each month which I then post and blog about; and, enjoy the added benefit of receiving a small commission should anyone buy product from my link(s). They do a great job promoting fountain pen inks as a creative medium and I’m proud to be an ambassador for them.

Here are eight swatch tests spanning December 2024 to April 2025.

Gossiping Grapevine is a voluptuous purple ink with a stunning rose gold shimmer and is launching on 2nd May 2025. Great reaction to bleach too.

Lantern Crossing is an eye catching burnt orange ink with fabulous shading qualities and a stunning rose gold shimmer. This will be available on 2nd May 2025. Great reaction to bleach too.

Whispers of Twilight is a dark plum coloured ink with a very generous silver shimmer and a great reaction to bleach.

Ambrosia Indulgence is a deep Burgundy red wine coloured ink with lovely subtle chromatic behaviours, a neon reaction to bleach and a huge gold shimmer. It’s inspired by the story of King Midas entertaining Silenus – tutor to the wine god Dionysus – and Dionysus rewarding Midas by granting his wish that everything he touches will turn to gold.

Book of Botany is a mid tone shamrock green with some turquoise chromatography and sharp reaction to bleach. It’s part of a wider collection of stationery items celebrating a new publication by famed botanical illustrator Peter Moss.

Cobalt Estates is a rich cobalt blue with some pink and turquoise chromatography and sharp reaction to bleach. There also a hint of a pink sheen in there too.

Festival Grove is a zesty and vibrant deep lime ink with a generous gold shimmer and fabulous yellow and green chromatography. A good reaction to bleach too.

Blue Revelry is a rather lovely mid blue birthday ink celebrating 15 years of the Ferris Wheel Press. As well as fabulous pink and turquoise chromo there is also a beautiful and generous duotone green/pink shimmer. And as if that wasn’t enough, you get a neon reaction with bleach too!

The Everyday Ink Carriage cradles and displays your most precious bottle of 38ml ink – in a beautiful polished gold-coloured metal. Transform any 38ml Ferris Wheel Press bottle into a carnival classic and bring inspiration to your deskscape with this adorable collectible. Adds stability during ink filling. When not in use, do replace the bottle cap.

Yet another stunning release of inks from FWP.
