German stationer PapierFischer have recently added another Diamine exclusive to their collection of fountain pen inks. Based on the bright vermilion red found in the Baden coat of arms, this ink not only packs a punch in terms of colour, but with the gold shimmer, this has got to be a summer must have.

“Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Baden ink, where golden shimmer particles combine with deep red – a tribute to the vibrant Baden flag. The golden warmth of yellow meets the powerful red, and in this union a dazzling symphony of colors unfolds. Like the sun over the vineyards of Baden, this ink shines in an intense golden red, captured in every drop. A touch of Baden, in a bottle to enliven your creative worlds.”

And it should come as no surprise that Stephan Lucht – the Diamine German Exclusives rock star is a main force behind all this. Whether diluting with water or using as is, the visual effects and subtle chromatography are just glorious! This gets the thumbs up from me.
